In the heart of New Hampshire's largest city a group that's making strides in embracing diversity, championing inclusivity, and igniting social change. Manchester, located in Southern New Hampshire, is where Queerlective, a progressive organization, is making waves.

The Manchester Pride: A Highlight in Our Journey
Manchester Pride is an annual event that celebrates the vibrant LGBT+ community and has held a special place in our hearts. It's a time when the city comes alive with color, music, and the spirit of unity. Queerlective has been an active participant, contributing to the rich tapestry of Manchester's pride celebrations by ensuring the arts are a big part of the celebration. 2023's celebration brought together almost 50 artists to this gathering. But our work extends beyond this lively event.
Queerlective's journey has also included bringing an artistic presence to Concord, New Hampshire's capital city, where we were deeply involved in Concord Pride. We have also participated in Concord Market Days and Midnight Merriment as a way to support local artists that might not otherwise be able to participate in such successful events.

At Queerlective, the words 'diversity,' 'equity,' and 'inclusion' (DEI) are more than just buzzwords. They're the cornerstones of our mission. We believe that every individual, deserves a place where they're not just seen, but heard and celebrated.
From the beginning we wanted Queerlective to be more than an organization; we wanted it to be a community-driven movement aimed at sparking social change. We recognize that true progress can only be achieved when we stand together in solidarity, supporting each other's struggles and victories.
The Road Ahead
While our roots are in Manchester and Concord, our vision extends beyond these city limits. We're working tirelessly to build a team that represents the diverse voices of New Hampshire, ensuring that every corner of the state has a seat at the table.
Queerlective's strength lies in our commitment to diversity. We proudly support the Black Lives Matter movement and champion the voices of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) communities. We recognize that the fight for justice and equity must be intersectional.
As a part of New England, we're deeply connected to the spirit of solidarity. We're here to foster connections, build bridges, and create spaces where people can come together to learn, grow, and create lasting change.
