Queerlective Receives NEFA Cultural Sustainability Grant

Queerlective Receives NEFA Cultural Sustainability Grant

We’re excited to share that Queerlective has been selected as one of 18 organizations across New England to receive a Cultural Sustainability grant from the New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA), with support from The Wallace Foundation.

This funding provides general operating support to arts organizations of color with budgets under $500,000. It’s an incredible affirmation of the work we’re doing in New Hampshire, and we are deeply grateful to NEFA for investing in us during a time when Queer and BIPOC-led arts organizations face increasing political and financial challenges.

This support will allow us to expand our capacity and grow the next phase of CoLab, our shared art and community space. CoLab is quickly becoming a critical resource for community gathering and creativity in New Hampshire, and this grant helps ensure it can continue to serve as a launchpad for community-led programs, partnerships, and mutual support.

As part of this grant, we’ll be joining a regional learning cohort with the other recipients. All organizations who have long been weaving culture, care, and creativity into the fabric of their communities.

Thank you to NEFA and The Wallace Foundation for standing with us in this moment. Together, we’re working toward a more vibrant, connected, and equitable creative ecosystem.
