Queerlective and NETAC Invite You to Collaborate

At Queerlective, we believe that art is not just a medium for self-expression; it's a catalyst for change, a vehicle for connection, and a powerful force for social transformation. We're excited to invite you to join us at our upcoming New England Teaching Artist Collaborative (NETAC) meeting, where we aim to explore, innovate, and ignite new ways of bringing the arts to different corners of our community to create positive social change.

When and Where:
Date: December 5th, 2023
Time: 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Location: Kimball Jenkins, 266 N Main St, Concord, NH 03301

Why You Should Attend:
NETAC is an initiative dedicated to building regional capacity for thriving communities by empowering teaching artists. These artists are not just creative individuals; they are catalysts who activate creative potential and foster partnerships with educators, organizations, and community groups.

Our December 5th meeting is a unique opportunity to delve into how our community supports teaching artists working in schools and community settings. We'll explore how these artists engage youth and adults in projects that strengthen well-being. But more importantly, we'll discuss the challenges we face and the innovative ways we can collectively engage with a regional network.

Meet Our Facilitators:
This meeting will be co-facilitated by Randall Nielsen, a driving force behind Queerlective, and Eric Booth. Eric Booth, widely regarded as the father of the teaching artist profession, is helping launch NETAC as a regional resource for teaching artists and communities.

Creating a Mosaic of Change:
Our communities are already pioneering arts-based initiatives that strengthen the sense of belonging and well-being we want for all residents. But there's so much more we can do together. By coming together at this meeting, we hope to inspire, connect, and collaboratively design novel approaches to bring art into every corner of our community.

Your Voice Matters:
We believe that meaningful change is driven by collective efforts. We need your voice in this conversation to help us imagine how we can work together to elevate the incredible creative culture we've developed in southern New Hampshire. Whether you're an artist, an educator, or just passionate about the arts, your perspective is invaluable.

Join Us in Creating Positive Change:
Art transcends boundaries and connects people. Let's leverage this power to build a more inclusive, vibrant, and creative community. Join us on December 5th, and together, let's catalyze creative change.

Please RSVP Your Attendance by 11/30/23.
