We’re excited to invite you to participate in the final playtest of our "We Are Your Neighbors" board game! This is your chance to help ensure the authenticity and impact of the game before it goes into production.
The "We Are Your Neighbors" board game aims to bring real, lived experiences to life, focusing on the social issues of housing, healthcare, and community resilience that affect marginalized communities. By participating in this playtest, you’ll help shape the final version of the game that will educate, inspire, and engage players in crucial conversations about social change.
Playtest Schedule:
Saturday, March 29, 2025
- 2:15 PM – Conference Playtest 1
- 5:00 PM – Conference Playtest 2
This playtest just so happens to be at the same time as the Race, Gender, Ethics, and Art Conference at Saint Anselm College, making it the perfect day to engage in thought-provoking discussions around identity, activism, and gender. The Queering Pop Culture panel discussion at 3:20 PM will explore themes related to the game’s narratives.
Why Participate?
- Be part of shaping the game: Your feedback will directly influence the final design and storylines, ensuring the game remains authentic and impactful.
- Engage with the community: Play alongside other community members, academics, and creators who are passionate about social change.
- Get involved in an important project: This is your chance to contribute to a project that aims to foster empathy and understanding for marginalized communities through storytelling and play.
RSVP Today!
Space for the playtest is limited, so be sure to RSVP for one of the playtest sessions (2:15 PM or 5:00 PM). After the playtest, stick around for the Queering Pop Culture panel or join us for social time and further discussions.
