CoLab: Where Art, Resilience, and Advocacy Come Together

CoLab is Queerlective’s community-powered creative space — a shared resource where art-making, mutual support, and collective action live side by side. It’s more than just a studio; it’s a cornerstone of New Hampshire’s growing social change ecosystem.

Queerlective has always seen itself as a pioneer, laying the groundwork for a more just and joyful future. CoLab sits at the heart of that vision. From hosting vibrant community events like the Trans Resource Fair, Comic Jam, Zine Workshops, Yarn & Yap, and Paint Lab, to launching public art projects like the Queer Icon Trivia Scavenger Hunt (featured at Manchester Pride 2024), CoLab is where creativity meets purpose.

The space also features a Queer Little Library filled with zines and books by and for our community, and it serves as the home base for our online store supporting local queer artists.

Help us grow CoLab as a hub for community connection, creative leadership, and transformative joy.

Queerlective Community Resiliency & Art-Centered Gatherings Program

Queerlective invites community members to propose gatherings that foster community resiliency and/or center art at CoLab. These events are designed to build connections, provide mutual support, and develop leadership, while celebrating queer joy and community empowerment.

Events may include:

  • Group Art Activites

  • Community Art Projects

  • Mutual Aid and Support Gatherings

  • Capacity Building Workshops

We especially encourage first-time organizers and those without formal leadership experience to participate.
