At Queerlective, we believe that accessibility is crucial in creating inclusive spaces for artistic expression. That's why we prioritize ensuring that CoLab is accessible to all members of the community. We understand that financial barriers can limit opportunities for many individuals, which is why we proudly accept requests for scholarships to use our space. By offering scholarships, we aim to break down economic barriers and provide equal access to the tools, resources, and supportive environment that CoLab offers. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to explore their artistic passions, collaborate with like-minded individuals, and contribute to the vibrant queer art community.

General Membership

Volunteer Membership

  • Same privileges as General Membership
  • Requires weekly 3-hour volunteer shift (total of 12 hours of volunteering each month)
  • Members must be 18 years old or older

Now with a 30-day free trial! The free trial provides time for your on-boarding including a new member orientation and tool trainings. We hope this gives you time to get settled, get certified to use CoLab’s equipment and workshops, and maybe even get a head-start on your projects before you start paying for membership.

Volunteer Members cultivate a welcoming, supportive, and safe community for CoLab’s members and guests.

 

In exchange for time spent managing the front desk, maintaining tools and equipment, and performing administrative tasks, volunteers receive subsidized membership and other exciting perks and opportunities.

Volunteer spots are limited and turn over throughout the year to enable new folks to join CoLab’s community and benefit from a lower membership cost!

    A Sustaining Membership provides unfettered 24/7 access to making at Artisans for one individual. This standard monthly rate supports Artisans Asylum’s short- and long-term operating costs.

    Save $60 to come into our facilities only on nighttimes and weekends! This membership tier is ideal for artists, makers and hobbyists who are balancing their creative endeavors with a day job.
